LOST & FOUND

Please check the lost and found basket by the teacart for the things you may have left behind after your blissful savasana! We have yoga mats, water bottles, socks, watches, clothing, baby items and more! ALL items in the basket will be donated at the end of May .

May is a time for planting and planning in preparation for leisurely fun-filled summer days. This May brings wonderful changes to ALL YOGA including new classes and teachers, summer specials and our fundraiser evening for Japan.

We also recently announced our $30 for 30 days of Unlimited Yoga as our regular introductory special for ALL new clients to our studio! Please feel free to forward this newsletter to your friends, family and co-workers who you know will benefit from the practice you love.

YOGA FOR KIDS & TEENS

There are upcoming classes for teens and kids but only if we have enough registered. Please call Kim at 407-4325 or email her to reserve your spot today!

Yoga for Tweens

This set of six classes is designed to help young men and women to develop flexibility, strength, coordination, and deepen self-awareness while harmonizing mind and body. This set is specifically designed for 10-12 year olds and costs $69 (HST inc.). Starts this Thursday!! May 5 at 6:30 (1 hour)

Hip Hop Yoga for Teens

Stressed out? Tired? Uninspired? Why not spice up your life with a new style of yoga that’s gaining popularity in big cities like New York, LA and London UK. This playful practice combines yoga poses and sequences influenced by break-dance moves with motivating hip-hop tunes. ALL teenagers welcome. There will be 6 classes per session and the cost is $69 (HST Inc.).

First session starts June 5th at 12:30 pm

Summer Yoga for Kids

We are currently interviewing for a teacher for these classes but would like to have registration now as we believe this will happen! All funds will be returned if we are unable to secure a teacher.

6 weeks: $69 (HST Inc.)

Age 5-7 (must have completed one year of school)

Thursdays, 6:30-7:15 pm, Jun 16 – Jul 21

Age 8-9

Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30, Jul 28 – Sep 1

Yoga International Magazine

is now available for purchase at ALL YOGA. The owners of ALL YOGA are members of the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA who just happen to be the publisher of this incredible book of yoga knowledge. The magazine is so packed with wisdom that it is only published 4 times a year. This magazine is also Kim’s favorite bath tub reading material and it is often hard to find on shelves in Dartmouth. This is why we have chosen to become a distributer!

Save the tax when you purchase from us and pay only the $6.99 cover price. Remember if you are a current 6 or 12 month member at ALL YOGA you are entitled to a discount on all retail purchases. We are only bringing in 20 copies at a time so get yours today!!

Psssttt! If you unwittingly borrowed a copy of this past season’s issue from the shelf without realizing they are for sale we invite you to quietly return it or pay for your copy the next time you are in…an easy mistake to have made!

LATEST SCHEDULE

The most noticable changes to our schedule is the names of some of our classes. We hope that the “Yoga for” titles bring clarity to the nature of our classes and the passions of our teachers.

Three of our regular teachers are not returning on the next schedule but please join me in wishing Moira, Alana and Jacqueline a wonderful summer!

FEATURED EVENT

Change for japan

For the entire month of April and May the studio will be collecting coins (bills accepted too!) for The Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami Relief efforts. Some of our generous teachers have also choose to add their some of their earnings from their studio and private classes to our total donation.

In celebration of ALL of our efforts ALL YOGA will host a Yoga practice and Satsang

Saturday, May 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Kim will lead this inspired ALL LEVELS event as we move in one Truth and pray for all lives affected by this terrible disaster.

550 Hour Teacher Training Program

Ruth Richman, E-RYT500 has practiced yoga for more than 40 years and taught for over 30. She has certifications to teach Ashtanga, Hatha and Kundalini Yoga as well as numerous trainings in other modalities. Her teacher training school was the first in Atlantic Canada to be recognized by the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level. Ruth demands dedication from her students. This level of professionalism and adherence to the path of Yoga is why Ruth is such a well respected teacher amongst her students and her peers world-wide. A recent graduate of Ruth’s 550 hour program shared with me this past spring that she has studied across the globe and can honestly say that her training with Ruth was by far the best instruction and guidance she has ever received!

Monthly Mantra

May all the beings in all the worlds become happy; Peace, peace and peace be everywhere!

This Mantra has been playing in my own heart and mind for weeks now and I hope that you find your own inner peace within the comfort of the words.

Please know that in my own practice I believe in One God and One truth and that it is only when and if we believe differently that we feel it is wrong to share the sacred tradtions of religions other than our own. All rivers lead to the same ocean. Yoga is union. Namaste.
