Optimize Your Health – Be Proactive
Learn how to travel through the cycles of life with more grace. This workshop will cover the stages of women’s reproductive years from menstrual cycles to postmenopausal as well we will discuss how a regular practice of yoga can help alleviate stress, insomnia, fatigue and more. You will learn how yoga can help to bring balance to your hormones, and your life – which will in turn aid in relieving symptoms and prevent disease.
Remember - Taking care of your own health is the most important thing you can do for yourself, for prevention, and for healing.
Saturday, January 26th (new date) from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
This workshop includes postures, breathing exercises and lecture. No experience is required.

Barb Stewart is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor and is currently studying 500 hour YTT certification at TAYS. She has studied under Jnani Chapman with YCAT – Yoga for People with Cancer from California and taken the YogaThrive (yoga for people with cancer) teacher training based from the University of Calgary. She is very passionate about yoga and LOVES to teach others how to develop a greater awareness of their body and their health and how yoga interconnects the two so that one can become more in tune with themselves. She has taught numerous workshops on how the many benefits of yoga can optimize your health. She has volunteered with the “Healing and Yoga” program for cancer patients. She teaches regular classes at ALL YOGA, weekly chair yoga classes in the workplace and as well private classes in clients homes.
