What our soon to be YTT Grads have to say…

Karen Williams liked this post
“Participating in the YTT program at All Yoga has been a incredibly positive experience for me.  Even if I choose not to go and teach myself, I have experienced a wealth of personal growth and awareness.  My personal relationships have improved because of my growth.  It is a wonderful way to get to know yourself on a much deeper, spiritual level.  My personal practice has grown deeper and my mind and heart are opening more each day.  I feel confident to teach and share what I know and love. ” ~Chantel

“The journey of yoga teacher training continues to be a fabulous experience that enhances my well bieing. I have enjoyed increasing my self awareness through growth in my physical practice and deepening  my spirituality through yoga. I am happy to spead the joy and positivity through teaching yoga.” ~Mary-Ann

I have just completed the 200 hour YTT Program with Kim Curtlett at ALL YOGA.  The experience was more than life changing; it was truly a gift.  Kim lives what she teaches, and in an open and accepting atmosphere, she has taught us to become qualified yoga teachers with the knowledge and experience to move out into the community, feeling confident and able to stand up in front of people and teach a safe and inspiring class. I originally choose to take the YTT Program to deepen my own practice, but as we come closer to graduation day, I find myself looking forward to teaching and sharing everything we have learned with others. Since beginning this journey I have spoken to many yoga teachers from various 200 YTT Programs and no other is/was as deep and extensive as this one.  The knowledge we have gained and experienced will go with us forever, no matter where life leads us after this.  Leaving here with a renewed self image, I feel so blessed to have been a part of this program. The friendships made here will last forever.  Thank you Kim.” ~Pat

“Thank you to Kim for this life changing experience, it was more than I ever expected. I had already been teaching yoga for the past 8 years and my main intention for taking this yoga teacher training was as a refresher to what I had already learned.  What I actually gained was an enhanced, more detailed understanding and love of the practice of yoga on every level. And most importantly I gained a newfound confidence and authenticity as a teacher and a student, for this I will forever be grateful.  I will also forever cherish the friendships and insights gained from getting to know such an amazing and diverse group of ladies” ~Renee

“YTT 2012/13. What can say? All that I expected, and I expected a lot. The All YogaTeacher Training program is thorough, balanced, interesting, spiritual, grounding… Just like Yoga. Every weekend felt new; every aspect another new experience. From Asana to Ayurveda, Kim puts her ALL into sharing & teaching her knowledge. I began as “maybe some day I will teach” ; I feel as I near the finale, “I can teach”. I totALLy recommend this 200 hour course.” ~Martha C

Intro to Yoga for Men – Take 2!

Carlye Mac liked this post

So we are going to try our Intro to Yoga for Men in another format and see if that possibly appeals to a few MORE good men!

In North America, Yoga has come to be thought of as a practice for women. Historically, yoga was designed for and practiced solely by men. Happily, the truth is that yoga is an excellent way for both men and women to find strength, flexibility, and calm in mind, body and spirit. The workshop “Introduction to Yoga for Men” invites men who are interested in exploring what happens in a yoga class. You will be guided through basic instruction in yoga postures to strengthen and invigorate the body, breathing and relaxation techniques to calm the mind, and the benefits of yoga as part of a well balanced lifestyle.

3 weeks – Sundays, April 21 – May 5

6:00 – 7:15 pm

John Coleman has taught yoga for many years. He is a registered and trained yoga teacher in the Kripalu Hatha Yoga tradition. John believes that it is very easy to integrate yoga into one’s existing lifestyle, and that those who choose to practice will very quickly experience the benefits.
